Hours

Our parks are open daily year-round.  Parks close at dusk unless hours are extended for events, practices or games.

Visiting with Pets

Dogs on a leash are permitted in ungroomed areas of our parks.  Pets are not allowed on soccer or softball fields or in picnic shelters.  Service dogs must be on a leash and can accompany their owner in most park areas.  Please clean up after your pet.  Gloves are provided at Foundation Park.

Park Rules

All park visitors must observe Chapter 955 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Pataskala. 

Our parks are places for wholesome fun.  Illegal activity, bad behavior and abusive language are not permitted.  See section 955.03

Leave only footprints and take only memories.  Please place any trash in designated containers, and do not remove any park property or natural features including rocks, plants and seeds.  See sections 955.04 and 955.05.

Alcoholic beverages and illegal substances are not permitted in our parks.  See section 955.06

Fireworks, firearms and other weapons are not permitted in our parks, unless specifically authorized.  See section 955.10 

Fires are not allowed in our parks, except in designated fireplaces or grills.  See section 955.08

Pets are restricted to park areas that are not groomed, and must remain on a leash.  Service dogs on a leash are permitted in all park areas.  See section 955.09

Hunting and trapping of wildlife are prohibited, unless specifically authorized.  See section 955.10. 

The maximum speed limit in our parks is 15 mph.  Vehicles must be park in designated areas, and are not permitted on the grass.  All terrain vehicles and dirt bikes are not permitted in our parks, except with written authorization.  See section 955.11

Shoreline fishing with a rod and reel is permitted in park ponds, and NOT subject to state fishing license requirements.  Fishing is catch and release.  See section 955.13

Smoking, vaping and other tobacco use is not permitted in our parks.  See section 955.14
