Thank you for considering Pataskala's City Parks for your event or gathering! Our shelters provide the perfect outdoor venue for picnics, parties, family reunions, and more. To reserve a shelter, please follow the steps below:
1. Submit a Facility Request Form:
- All shelter reservations require a facility request form to be submitted for consideration. Please note that facility requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
2. Read the Rules and Regulations:
- All individuals/groups requesting a permit must read and adhere to the Rules and Regulations governing shelter rentals.
3. Reserve Online:
- Create an account or log into Civic Rec using the following link: Civic Rec. Click on the "Shelter Rental" tab to view the calendar and check availability. Once you have selected an open day, complete the reservation process.
4. Approval Process:
- Please note that your reservation is not approved until internal staff has reviewed and approved the request. You will receive confirmation of your reservation within 48 hours of submission.
5. Cancellation Policy:
The City reserves the right to cancel assigned days, times, and locations of any permit at their discretion.
Permit holders found in violation of the rules and regulations may face suspension, fines, disciplinary action, and/or cancellation of the permit.
No refunds will be issued for canceled reservations.
6. Rainout Policy:
In the event of inclement weather or rainouts, reservations can be transferred to an alternative date within the current season.
